AutoCAD 2002 VAP Notes

Why?
====

If you have downloaded the RiSE release of AutoCAD 2002, 
dated 29/3 or 30/3 2001 then this patch is for you. Before 
applying this patch please check that the following 
files match the sizes given below exactly.

acad.exe (6,852,667 bytes)

In /Common Files/Autodesk Shared

acdb15.dll (3,981,373 bytes)
acrx15.dll (188,466 bytes)
acutil15.dll (278,584 bytes)

If you run this version of AutoCAD past the 31st of July 
2001 you will not be able to open files due to an expiry 
check, this patch fixes this problem.

How
===

I strongly recommend that you re-install AutoCAD 2002 and 
apply this patch from the start (do NOT apply the old crack or use 
the replacement acad.exe). If re-installing is not an option 
you need only apply this patch to acad.exe to fix the expiry 
flaw when opening files.

Re-installing provides one notable cosmetic advantage, that your 
user information and company will not be erased from the 
splash screen.
