Aurelio is the worldÆs first image viewer to fill this gap and makes an
extensive use of your Video Card hardware using OpenGL 1.4 to produce a
seemless image viewing experiment as rare as gold (Aurelio means gold
in latin).
AurelioÆs list of features contains but not limited to the following
features:
- OpenGl Acceleration of image display.
- Six pixel shader effects , four of them are adjustable by keyboard or
mouse wheel and All of them Colud be applied on normal or stereo
images. The program supports both Nvidia and ATI pixel shaders.
- Processor Optimized Jpeg and Jps file reading and thumbnail viewing
(Pentium MMX , Pentium II , Pentium II and Pentium 4 Processors
optimization) which provides a performance gain of up to 3.5 times the
normal performance.
(AMD users can use the Pentium MMX optimization which provides an
excellent performance gain above the normal performance).
- 4 Different Benchmarks , one of them does six Pixelshader tests ,
another one
does High precision OpenGL fragment program test which corresponds to
Direct X 9.0 PixelShader 2.0 Performance in high precision mode ,
another one does Low precision OpenGL fragment program test which
corresponds to the Direct X 9.0 PixelShader 2.0 Performance in Low
precision mode and another one does a test with a current image and
current configuration.
- Real time Dynamic zoom and pan .
- Bilinear filtering.
- Advanced Trilinear filtering:
Unlike the normal trilinear filtering the program uses your Video Card
hardware to produce the image mipmaps dynamicly while you are zooming
rather than when the image is loaded ,(Known as Automatic mipmap
generation and neads a Geforce or Radeon class or better) it also
overcomes the the bluriness of the trilinear filtering by using your
video cardÆs LOD Bias Capability.
- Texture caching :
The first time you view a large image itÆll take the normal time but
subsequent
large images will take much less time.
- Resolution switching (Switching the desktop resolution to match the
image resolution ) in fullscreen mode.
- Support for many 2D image formats as well as JPS and BMS stereo image
formats , stereo viewing makes an extensive use of your Video hardware.
- 3 Different image viewing ways(via Window , via Browser and via
fullscreen mode).
- Advanced slideshow:
you can add images to the file selection list of the slideshow while
the slideshow is running and the slideshow will display it in its turn
or you can remove images form the slideshow file selection list , even
better you can do a print or print preview or even apply any pixel
shader effect while the slide show is running because most of these
tasks are done by the video card leaving the processor for any other
use.
- Powerfull save , saves current image with the applied pixel shader and
saves any stereo image as normal 2D image (Tga,tif,jpg,gif etc..) .
- Color Stereo , Pure Red/Blue , Pure Red/Green and Gray Anaglyphs.
- Dynamic 3D Stereo zoom in and out for stereo images.
- Stereo image combiner (a tool to combine separate 2D images into a 3D
stereo image)
- Glasses calibration ( a tool calibrates RGB values of the stereo image
to match the color of your glasses).
- Print and print preview.
