aRFive is a dedicated control and management program for the AOR
AR5000 communications receiver. It is designed to ergonomically
greatly simplify access to most of the features of the AR5000.
It also enables some features which are not possible on the
receiver itself, for example copying from a memory to any vfo.
Features are designed to be intuitive so that with help hints
further reference to this help file should rarely be needed.
PROGRAMMING
aRFive enables you to setup almost all of the settings in the
AR5000 very easily for later remote use without aRFive. While
the AR5000 provides the best interface it can with a limited
screen, aRFive makes the whole process of programming your Scan
and Search channels and options, vastly easier.
INTERFACE
aRFive is designed from scratch to be your main front end
interface to the receiver for base station use, offering many
additional advanced features such as comprehensive Scan, Search
and Long Term logging and slick keyboard or mouse control. e.g.
Switch between VFOs, and current mem, tune any VFO and step
through memories all with one hand from the 4 cursor keys of
your PC keyboard.
NOTE: The upgrade also contains the AR5GRABBER v1.0.7.3 and
we also included a patch to crack that one. We saw no
reason to make it a standalone release, as it require
the ARFIVE package to work.

1) Unpack.
2) Install using 'setupex.exe'
3) Unpack the 'ar5_upgrade.zip' and copy all the files to
the AR5 installed directory - overwrite ALL.
4) Copy both .EXE files from 'crack.rar' to the install dir.
5) Run both, and apply the patches.
6) Enjoy!
